Madera Ranch, southern portion. A shallow, dry vernal pool (noted occurences of VP fairy shrimp). Stand is dominated by Lasthenia gracilis and Hemizonia pungens, but is late in phenology. Hemizonia is blooming and at full growth/ cover.
